What is a motorcycle gear indicator and how does it work?

The indicator tell you what gear you are in anytime and anywhere when you are riding. It works by connecting to your bike wires to collect signals from bike electronics.

Most cases, our motorcycles do not have one gear indicator, we need hold the clutch to decrease the gear position to neutral gear to see what gear we are in. But if we install one gear indicator, we can know what gear easily.
